"Had a good stay there. Breakfast was ok, the bed was comfortable, the room was more than adequate, the price was good. But the facility is showing its age and needs some renovations."
"Super clean and updated. I’m so happy to see a hotel with high quality in The Dalles. Can’t wait for their restaurant to open. I always enjoy having breakfast where I stay. Hope they consider package rates that include breakfast."
"Clean, comfortable, secure door locking system. Breakfast hard-boiled eggs, and staff very welcoming and helpful. Close to town center for restaurants and live music. Will go back again."
"We only stayed here for one night, but experience was good. Really easy place to find as it was just right off the main road in Biggs just off the highway. Arrived pretty late (8pmish) and the lady at the front desk was really nice. Check-in was a breeze. As for the room we stayed in, this is an older establishment, so don't expect a 'brand new look' to the room. Room was clean enough and very spacious with two queens. Had all the essential items one needs while traveling and check-out was also...
"Very nice place. The early morning breakfast was well stocked with cereals to waffles.
The only complaint I have is the fitness center. I used the fitness center during my stay and everyday the fitness center smelled like a bad locker room. If there was a fan or some type of ventilation it might alleviate this problem."
"The gentleman that I communicated with was friendly and the rooms appeared clean, however the wood floors in both rooms were filthy and after walking barefoot, our feet were dirty as well. The floors were swept but NOT mopped. One of our party cleaned her feet and a section of the floor with a towel - icky. Slippers, socks or shoes are highly recommended in the rooms!
The pool and pool room were clean and lovely but the hot tub was not filled and working.
We were a party of 6 women and had...
"This was a very nice place to stay. No so much of a modern day hotel but the staff was very very nice and helpful. We love our stay at Inn of the White Salmon."
"The room was great. I tried to watch TV but there were no instruments on how to work the tv so I finally gave up. The room was comfortable but I could definitely hear the traffic."
"Very nice property, garden was beautiful and pool facilities very clean. The apartment was comfortable, nicely appointed, and amenities were provided. The staff were cordial
And the service was excellent. I would stay here again."
