"Clean room, helpful staff"

"A cheap and cheerful night on the outskirts of Derby. The hotel is rather hidden away and not well signposted. I checked in, room was clean with tea/coffee available. The rooms are single storey, bungalow style There is parking right outside of the rooms"

"Room service from the main restaurant available. Room was pretty quiet overnight, bed was firm which was our preference"

"Great location"

"nothing good to say apart from friendly reception"

"Nice, basic room. Kitchen well-equipped ut a bit of a trek to the back of the house. Very convenient for Trent Bridge cricket ground"

"A handy spot in the center of town. Only discrepancy was a bunch of takeaway bags behind the door the cleaners missed, however it was no problem for me to put in the bin. Lovely rooms, comfy beds and bathroom was great. Staff were lovely and able to give a friendly chat and directions to the room."

"Great staff, comfy beds, clean rooms, easy parking, lovely food in the restaurant. Will definitely look to return if staying in the area again."

"Parking best part of experience "

"Great breakfast, friendly welcoming proprietor."

"Team very helpful. Very clean hotel and comfortable bed.. the hotel could do with a bit of maintenance. But will use again"

"This was a scam. No email was ever received from the property with check-in instructions and they never responded to messages or calls. We ended up having to book different hotels and am trying to get a refund from hotels.com"

"Has the basics and it’s clean ."

"Spotlessly clean and friendliest pub I’ve visited in some time."

"I used it for Download Festival, it’s really close and there’s a bus stop right outside so it was perfect and a bargain for the price. There’s a persistent smell of damp, but I always carry a room spray with me. Other than that, absolute bargain, lovely people, plenty of space and I’d definitely go back."

"Much improved since my last stay, check in and out very much improved.very convenient for the station "

"Great place to stay, the room is exactly as advertised. 20 minute walk downtown and well connected to East Midlands. The studio with the small kitchenette and the private bathroom was definitely worth it. The gym is great for a little workout "

"I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay."
