"The property was beautiful. The room was comfortable and met every need. Enjoyed the pool and the quiet. The neighborhood did not seem safe, and there were no restaurants in close proximity, so a car is needed. Recommend for those not wanting to stay in Port of Spain. Host and staff were gracious and helpful. "
"I had a wonderful stay at Shalom Guesthouse in Port of Spain. It is located in a quiet and safe area. The room is spacious, with a mini fridge, which is great for cooling food and drinks and a table, which is practical for working, an en-suite bathroom and even a little terrace. The owner was very helpful with everything, like directions and other information. A delicious breakfast was served to my room. I could rest well here, can highly recommend this accommodation. :)"
"If your looking for a family stay on a budget, with breakfast, then this is the place for you. Don't have any high expectations. The pools are the best thing about the location and the keep it well maintained. Great location in the city. The building and the rooms were a bit old fashioned and can do with some TLC. The eating area can do with some table cloths and some love as well. The staff was polite and helpful. They offered us a better room. Good WiFi."
