"We arrived at the Manchester View in late September on a trip to see the beautiful change of colors. View is definitely what you get here. Surrounded by gorgeous rolling hills and mountains that were covered with green, yellow, red and orange leaves. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary and were upgraded to a suite room. Thank you! Room was very nice, clean and spacious. My only complaint was the door would stick when trying to open or close the door to the room. And, although the bath was...
"We arrived late in the afternoon and were given the keys to our hotel room. When we got to the room it smelled like smoke. We opened the window to try and get the smell out. When my wife went into the bathroom there was still a used towel hanging. At that point we decided to leave. The staff was very understanding and helpful with this request and we did get a complete refund."
"The grounds and rooms are simple and clean. Location is close shops and restaurants. You are able to access to staff when needed. The only comment I will make is that I wish there was a bench or something like it where the guests have a place their personal item in the bathroom."
"We stay here 2 or 3 times a year and know it well. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. On this visit, we found our original room to be noisy because of the ice machine (?), but the staff got us another room when asked.
The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable.
The hotel was unusually full, but very quiet. Breakfast is always good here and the coffee is excellent. (Vermont seems to be obsessed with coffee....)
Having tried two or three other hotels in Brattleboro, we have...
"My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Wilmington. The room was as pictured, basic, but cozy and clean. Convenient location close to shops and restaurants. Seamless virtual check in. Great place to stay at this price point."
"Clean room, friendly staff, nice views. Best, though, is the relaxing decor, and ambience of the downstairs common area. Very nice. Breakfast is continental and rather simple (ie. cold cereal, yogurt, muffins, fruits) but did the trick for us. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you!"
"Room very clean. We did not know it was self check in! But everything worked out. Phone number very helpful. The snack room helped us out! I would recommend this property!"
"This place is nothing like the description. Expedia has to do better. The surrounding area was full of sketchy people, The whole place is rundown and filthy. There was open soap stuck to the holder by the sink. The tub didn’t drain and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. It’s not cheap either! A refund needs to be an option in a place like this. It was positively gross! We weren’t told about breakfast, but we weren’t interested in it anyway! If the area food is prepared in is like the...
"Thia is a nice place to stop for the night. The manager/owner ia ao very nice and helpful. The location is great and it was pretty quiet.
I think the price was fair and rhe accommodations werw just fine. It's nice that they allow dogs as well."
"The check in process was very frustrating. I booked through Expedia and wasn’t able to access my reservations through their online booking portal. A lodge TV at gas rooms dates in the 70s should probably have staff to check in if they can’t keep up with the technology"
"Rob the manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. The food and the restaurant were very good. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. It is in the center and friendly shops near by. Parking was included and in front of the inn."
