"Loch Eyre House is a charming and private bed & breakfast. The fact that it's 7 miles from the traffic of Portree is a big plus-- at Loch Eyre House you have quiet and a beautiful view of Loch Eyre. The guest lounge is a comfortable place to read or play cards if the weather isn't great. Our room had everything we needed, plus a balcony porch with table and chairs. "The cabin was a lovely tranquil space. Away from the hubbub of Portree and all on its own. It was so peaceful looking over the water with a horse and sheep as the immediate neighbours. I didn't manage to work the induction hob but was able to use the oven just fine. The hot tub was a rare treat too. It took a bit to figure it out but nothing a wee Youtube video couldnt fix. "

"There were 3 of us (myself, husband, son) who stayed at 4 Old Post Row and it was absolutely perfect for us in every way. Clean, comfortable, had all amenities that were listed. It’s so cozy but never felt too small. The decor is all thoughtfully curated. The garden is very well looked after and there is a small babbling brook just inside the double red gate at the walkway. "We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t recommend it enough. The room was spotlessly clean, and the little thoughtful details throughout made it feel really special. Breakfast was simple but lovely — exactly what you want to start the day right. The hosts were fantastic, warm and welcoming the whole time. One of our favorite memories was waking up to the sound of sheep outside — so peaceful and quiet. A perfect, relaxing base for exploring Skye. Highly recommend!"
