"Pros- beds were comfortable, it was quiet, full kitchen was great, self check-in went smoothly. Cons- some overlooked areas in cleaning- smears of something on walls and picture frames, a dirty cooking pot, etc. The main problem was the shower. While it looked very nice, it was poorly designed. All of the water ran to the end of the shower and out into the bathroom instead of to the drain. Even after a very short shower the water had flooded the bathroom almost to the door. "The couple who manages the hotel was very friendly and accomodating. Our room was super clean and had been recently remodeled. Although the hotel is located next to a busy street, we could not hear the traffic with the windows closed. Having AC in the room on a 30°C day was an extra bonus. The AC unit seemed brandnew and was extremely quite. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet."

"This is a really unique and quirky property! We really enjoyed our room. We booked the top attic room with 5 twin beds and our kids/teens loved it! Really unique space with interesting history. I won't recommend it to people with mobility issues, as the stairs are steep and the ceiling has low beams. But for us it was a really fun experience. Other rooms may not be this way. Self check-in was easy! You just push open the old wooden door to enter the hotel. Once in the entryway, there is a ATM...
