"The experience was horrible with Hotel com and the hotel Golden Fort! We had done an advance booking for 2 nights 3days via Hotels.com On the day of checkin when we called stating that we will be checking in, we were told by the Hotel Golden Fort that there is NO BOOKING in our name , whereas we were sent a mail by Hotels.com stating that our booking was confirmed! "The hotel is excellent condition. Everything worked as expected. Staff were all helpful and pleasant. It's location near major shopping area was a treat for me a foreign tourists."

"I booked this through expedia and paid upfront for non refundable fees. Once i reached the location the manager there said they did not receive any booking and they dont have any information. There were no rooms available around so I had to pay him in cash again for the room for which he overcharged for a disgusting small room where you can barely walk. Expedia did not even respond during that time when i tried their support option. I would never advise this hotel. "
