"Love the location which is why we have stayed here several times over the years. Found out that the property had recently changed hands and they are beginning updating the rooms and the site (pool decking currently being repaired while we were there) which is much needed. Wouls like to see a better breakfast selection but this will not keep me from returning again."
"Would certainly stay again. Everything was clean and well maintained. I was concerned about sharing a restroom, however, the bathrooms were very clean and there was never a wait to use them."
"The place was nice enough, but I’ve been to a hundred places over the years using Expedia, and not once did the owner insist on a 10 a.m. checkout AND send reminders via text message that if we weren’t out by 10 we’d be charged another day.
I guess they have their reasons, but after forking over $600 for 2 rooms, 2 nights, checking out at the normal, 11 a.m. time - or earlier - should be up to me, not them."
"The advertising photo of the nice cabin is not the cabin we got and booking was misleading. No AC, no water, no bathroom, just the cabin and two outlets. The advertising is misleading as there was no coffee. The coffee house pictured is not open. The people were very nice, it was quiet and it looks like they are really trying to do some nice improvements. The shared shower house and bathrooms are very nice, just a long walk in the middle of the night. It was very nice for having our dog along...
"This place was an absolute gem. Incredible views, wildlife right outside your door and the perfect getaway from the hustle of everyday life. The cabin is so clean, well kept, beautifully decorated with nostalgia in every corner. Every comfort of home is provided. Great place to unplug, relax and soak up nature. This place was just what I was looking for in every sense of the word. The owner is so kind and welcoming, we felt right at home. Probably the best rental I've experienced. "
