"The Barn is a lovely hostel and I highly recommend if you are wanting to stay in the area! The building is very modern and beautiful on the inside and out. The common area is very large with a huge kitchen and plenty of seating. The rooms are a little small but we were only staying one night so it wasn’t a problem. The bathrooms are spacious and the shower is great. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a gorgeous view of mountains and the beach behind the Barn! "

"The host was super helpful. We did not receive any communication from Expedia with details about which cottage we had reserved. Fortunately the host was there and able to check on the reservation without any hint of being perturbed by the lack of communication from Expedia. The setting was gorgeous and it was very easy to find. The very cute bungalow cottage was equipped with everything the we needed and was spotless. The blackout shades were much more effective than those in most places we stayed in Iceland. "
