"I booked five rooms at the Avania Inn of Santa Barbara for my family for my graduation, and the experience was terrible. One of the rooms I booked showed multiple beds online three beds and I paid $540 for one night. But when I arrived, they gave me two queen beds and a sofa bed instead.
When I talked to the supervisor, he said there was nothing he could do except cancel the room, even though the room I booked was clearly not what I received. On top of that, all five rooms had a strong bad...

"The hotel was very well maintained and a great bargain in Santa Barbara. The room was extremely clean and large. The bathroom was very nicely laid out. Breakfast was very convenient and the property was in a great location in town.
The property is older but that didn’t detract from anything during our stay."

"Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating for early check-in and late check-out.
The room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed, down to the way the towels were folded.
The property was lush with tall palms, banana plants and myriad greenery which created a calming environment.
The self serve breakfast was a pleasant surprise.
A hot tub was a wonderful amenity for an evening soak after a full day of walking."

"It looks like this hotel was recently converted from a Motel 6 and they're still working out a few of the kinks. The staff were the best part of the experience, the guy working the night check-in desk on May 23rd was juggling a lot while still being very kind and professional. Then again, a few people's rooms got cancelled on them because we were showing up too late (11:30pm), which I wasn't a fan of. The room was nice enough, but the key card to get into the room failed even though I made sure...
