"It was a very basic service that was on offer. As we were just staying 1 night this did the job. Clean and comfortable, but with no added extras."

"Even though the receptionists were really good with me, the place needs maintenance overall. And some vending machines will make it better. The location is far away from restaurants and the town. You need Uber or car to go anywhere. The room was very clean."

"This is a gem in the cute little village in Alford. The staff, rooms, bar and restaurant were all great. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Excellent room and facilities will be back again in 2 weeks"

"We had a bay view room which looked directly out onto the harbour which was lovely to wake up to The room was spotlessly clean and modern with everything we needed built in. The tea and coffee station was tucked away nicely and there was a full size fridge with a freezer in. We found this excellent as we were travelling so it gave us a good opportunity to freeze our ice packs for the cool bag and chill our drinks down for when we set off again in the morning. "

"All together a lovely place to stay with very welcoming hosts. thank you very much."

"Where to begin. The staff were all super friendly and polite and the lifts work quickly, I think thats about where the good points end. The hotel is utterly falling apart. The main reception is relatively well maintained and clean looking, the other attached reception is abandoned, falling apart, the bar and resturaunt is closed and abandoned, the main door doesn't work, missing carpets with exposed rotting ply-wood on the floor and walls with random bits of rubbish and broke furniture spread...

"Myöhäinen check in ei onnistunut ja pääsin vasta aamulla huoneeseen. "

"Amazing stay will definitely stay again"

"It was really special to experience a fisherman’s cottage in a genuine fishing village. Could not have been better than in the home of Cullen Skink. As you would imagine it’s very compact and very homely. It was lovely to listen to the ocean at night and see all the bird life. You aren’t very far from the ocean even if you’re not in the front row. It’s clean, warm and comfortable. Could do with a cheese grater."

"The location was fab for the beach. The property had everything we needed and was nice and quiet. Very modern and comfortable. The host gave us a later check out which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend 🤗"
