I was told the hotel was closed and that they had no record of my booking, despite the fact that I had already paid. The reception staff were unhelpful and showed little concern for the situation. "The only problem is getting in and getting out. The stairs are pretty terrible. It’s absolutely beautiful and I’ve been there before. But there’s new stairs and they have a rule about luggage. You have to pay people to bring your bags up and down and sometimes they’re not available."
