That being said, there was the mold problem that I smell in many hotels in Taiwan. At one point, I started sneezing uncontrollably, and I don’t consider myself to be sensive to mold. Also, the a/c control wasn’t much of a control. There was no way to adjust the temp, which was 17 degrees C. Could only choose various fan strength...

"This place was great! Super clean and convenient to the main road. They also had free breakfast! I think the only suggestion I had was to maybe mark the breakfast items for vegetarians. The front desk did explain to me which ones were okay to eat but my Chinese isn’t the best. But everything else was great!"

"The Inn is charming located with a good view of the sea and mountain. The place is well kept and clean. Breakfast is simple and nice and dining area is cosy. Getting there is challenging because of uphill climb and steps. Better to travel light. The place is not manned after 8pm and arrangement needed for late check in. Staff are friendly and helpful."

"It's a budget hotel in a port city. If that's what you love then you'll know this is your place. We went to the night market every night and used the train every day to get to where we need to go in the entire Taipei metro. There is 24 hr pharmacy and convenience store right downstairs. Why pay Taipei rates when you can live in Keelung and watch people wash freshly caught fish on the sidewalk. I'm from a fishing port and this is my home. "

"Accommodation is located ard 20min from train station. Ard 10min walk to Luodong night market. Might have difficulty contacting the owner via whatsapp so Line would be encouraged so prob contact property at least 2-3days in advance would be better. Need to climb some stairs so travel light. "My family and I arrived for our reservation at about 6pm only to be told by the guy at the front desk that our price from Expedia was “too low” and that the price is usually about $135/night (which is NOT true if you check their online prices).
