"The hotel was in a good place, not too far from the town centre and also easy to get back onto the M5. It was also good having the free car park with ample spaces. The staff were helpful. The only downfall the mattresses are very soft and when there are 2 of you in bed you both end up rolling into the middle together. The walls are quite thin and we could hear someone in the next room plugging something in and unplugging it again."

"When we arrived in the afternoon of the 28th the reception staff were brilliant that can't be said of the following morning staff. The room was really nice it was clean and warm ,the dining area was a bit tatty and the food was pretty mediocre "
"very clean and quiet room, nice soft towels, comfortable bed and a quiet fan was provided in the room as we stayed during a very hot spell. The owners were really friendly and helpful, and very kindly offered us the room for a couple of hours longer after check out as we were attending a funeral that morning and wanted to change afterwards. We really appreciated their thoughtfulness.

"Beautiful setting with excellent biodiversity. Cabin itself is dated. Given that it’s on a fish farm it’s probably great as a base for fishing but wasn’t the best cabin I’ve booked for a family trip with two small children."

"The location when we arrived was perfect so peaceful and tranquil. A bit difficult to find as going down the lane only a car width and when reaching the end no signage to say we were in the correct place or to guide us signage to the cabin.
I was quite dated inside but clean and tidy enough, it had what you would need for your stay. The hob and oven were clean but the markings to know the heat and what part of the oven was the fan was trial and error ( some burnt garlic bread as the grill and...
"Absolutely wonderful holiday retreat. Property was so much more than I imagined, even a coffee pod machine with pods, and many other added extras. A home from home. So spacious and was just so peaceful. Loved waking to the sound of the horses, cows, sheep etc. Welcome goodies were so appreciated. 5* accommodation, so clean and well presented. Had no issues so didn’t contact the owners. Would most definitely stay again if I was in the area. Highly recommended"
