"We had a decent one night stay at the Timberline Inn while in the area to hike around Mt. St. Helens. There are few accommodations in this area. The front desk manager was friendly and helpful and they offer complimentary water, fruit and cookies in the small lobby. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable although the pillows were all a bit overstuffed for my taste. "We were in town for a baseball tournament. The hotel was just blocks from the Chehalis Sports Complex. VERY basic, but had what we needed. It would be great if they changed the type of cleaning product they use. It was extremely potent when we arrived. Thankfully it mellowed with the door and windows opened. We felt very safe there though. "

"People working desk were extremely helpful even though the area was very sketchy. Just off the highway which added a little uneasiness to our stay since we were on motorcycles but we were assured there was security cameras recently installed and no theft problems."
