"The room was musty…. And the room I got was with two queen beds and NOT the king bed I requested. The icebox did not work and the restroom had a strobe light. The floors appeared clean but when wiping up water with the towel it was nasty. They apparently don’t get mopped. The elevators are S L O W. and the waiting room for elevators was suffocatingly hot… been going here 3 years and nothing has improved. Haven’t been in a year and doesn’t appear any improvements have been done…. They were...

"Great location on Galveston seawall. Only bad points hot water is not very hot at all and no microwave in your room. Great pizza spot in front of room, but no way to reheat later unless you want to go to lobby every time. Other than that, a pretty good stay for the price."

"The room was spacious and clean. My only complaints are about the bathroom. The toilet paper was very thin. They could get better quality and people wouldn’t use as much. Also the bathroom light automatically turn on the fan. Not great when you go at night and wake up your spouse. These are small grievances and overall this is a great place to stay while on The Island."
