Some staff were nice but some very rude, coming into the rooms at night and turning the light on and leaving the door open (1:30am!) I paid via Expedia but when I arrived was told I hadn’t paid and had to give cash also. So I have paid twice for this hostel which was very disappointing and unclean. Decent WiFi...

"Booked it about three months before and upon arrival was told that the hostel was overbooked. Was then asked to pay upfront for a shared apartment and bathroom which I had not seen and was different to the room type I booked (private room and bathroom). The apartment was dirty inside and can only be described as unsafe with extremely dodgy window and door locks. To anyone coming to Budapest this is definetly an institution to avoid but it doesn't represent the city in anyway."
