"Location is outstanding and is in the middle of the old town within 10walk from the train station and a block form Lake Lugano. The check-in staff were very friendly and very helpful whenever we had questions. One thing that could be improved is to respond to customer issues. Our shower head fell and broke. We reported the issue and it wasn’t fixed for two days before we left. We basically used a hose for shower for a couple of days. I believe this is something simple that could be fixed...

"This is where i try to stay in Lucarno. Book early, it's popular! It's one minute from the station and overlooks the promenade. The lake views, particularly at sunrise, are fantastic. Although not large, the rooms have been nicely renovated. Breakfast is fairly extensive. There's free coffee and tea that you can enjoy all day while overlooking the lake from the balcony of the breakfast area. I shall return."

"Very convenient location for bus and train from Locarno train station. Just opposite to the train station. Easy to find. Lift to all floors, good breakfast. Newly renovated bathroom. Easy to walk to the lake, funicular, boat and nearby shopping area."

"Really clean hotel with all the amenities you need. Basic but it’s what you pay for. The location is ideal as it’s very central. Was kindly upgraded to a private bathroom too and the 10% discount for the restaurant is a bonus which was excellent food. The woman on reception was very helpful and kind too. Overall an excellent experience. "

"Very clean, simple room. Even though it was small it was very comfortable. Only thing I didn't like was that there was no space to stop and check in. I had to park very far away and walk there. Overall excellent value for the price and a great location!"

"Paolo was an amazing host. The B&B is in a fantastic location right off the main road. There are 4 rooms total, each one is decorated with unique antiques and artwork that Paolo has collected. Paolo gave us great recommendations for what to see in town. During breakfast we had a wonderful meal, and spent over an hour talking with Paolo about many interesting topics, from travel to politics. He is an architect and has done the renovation to this house himself, and is working on several other...

"The property is set in a nice surroundings but the rooms are very basic with hard beds no aircon and a very small window with a fan that blows the hot air around the breakfast is ok but had to wait ages for it"

"Nice appartement, its very pretty and the kitchen is fully equiped. Well situated in the centre of Tegna, the children took the train to Locarno while we went hiking and climbing in Val Maggia. Only minus point is the church bells, (you are in the centre of town!) but you get used to them after a couple of days. "
