"Approaching from the main road on the unpaved street with partly finished neighbouring buildings was uninviting. Exterior of the riad looks nice but it faces onto the garden and isnt within view. Interior is tastefully decorated but the smell of the nearby farm animals wafting through the building was unpleasant. "Our stay in the oasis was very exotic. The room was appropriate for the location but equipped with an AC and pretty comfortable beds. We had a great breakfast in the morning in the local style, with amazing fresh bread that was made on site that same morning. "They are berbers and I received generous warmth and welcoming even during my 1 night stay. It was tranquil and calm with the date palm that lived for more than 200 years, beautiful peacocks walking freely and a cozy room! I slept like a baby! Even though, it was quite isolated but i really did enjoy my stay there and regardless communication break down with the staffs but their warmth gesture speak louder than words. The owner was there too and I was thankful with his assistance! I could not ask...

"This property is beautiful and isolated, about 8 kms outside Ourzazate. It's set beautifully but star gazing might be the only thing that you could do around here in the evening. Staff is friendly and helpful. We did have 1 room that had heat issues (December time and heater didn't work) but they shifted us to a bigger room. Water was heated and the room heat was sufficient. Great beds and the comforters were thick and heavy keeping us warm. The staff got up early and served us breakfast before sunrise at 7:45 am as we were headed to Merzouga that morning."
