"WOW!! I rented a cabin on the ocean side of the hotel, and it was WONDERFUL hearing the ocean crashing from my bed each morning and evening. I live in Guatemala, so my standards for facilities have been affected accordingly. This is a beach cabin with a thatch roof and you CAN SEE through the cracks on the floorboards. This area of Guatemala is HOT all year round, but there is a fan in the cabin which helps immensely. The bathroom was not fancy, and you could see the ground beneath the shower...

"This place and staff was amazing. The latest check in is 8:00 pm. We were running late from EL Tunco and showed up at 7:45. I swear it felt like they were waiting for us. We got checked in and went to the restaurant. The staff was attentive and the food was amazing. The next morning we booked our tour to the volcano which you start, your hike right from the lobby lol. That was pretty cool. No need to get in any vehicle. So I’m in ok shape with bad knees and made it all the way up. It was a bit challenging for me but not to bad. Once we arrived at the top, which took like 2hrs the view was amazing. I would highly recommend staying at this place."
