"It was a half hour walk from the train station, which we used to familiarize ourselves with the area. Could have very easily taken a bus, as there is a stop close to the hotel. Our room was on the 2nd level, but due to the set up of the hallways and rooms, we got lost trying to find ours, despite the desk clerk’s instructions. "We stayed here for two nights during our time in Amsterdam. You are very close to both a grocery store and the tram which will get you anything the city quick and cheap. There are a lot of restaurants in the area. There was some construction going on during our visit in the lobby area.
