"Let’s start with some positive because honestly there aren’t very many. The location was good for the area. The bed was comfortable and the fire pit area was cute. His communication and responsiveness was excellent. However, I would not call this a cabin by any stretch of the imagination. The bathroom situation was NOT AT ALL acceptable at all. For the price the bathroom should have been in the cabin and not a FULL port-o potty. Definitely not suitable for 2 separate cabins. There was no privacy...

"Only there one night in terrible rain so hard to say much. The room is lovely — no tv was a surprise but ok. Heater super noisy when it kicks in. Loved the turntable in room!"

"We had a wonderful 3 night stay in Bayside, ME with our famiily of four. The cottage is in a great central location and within driving distance to Camden, Befast, Boothbay and Bar Harbor. The village of Bayside also has a great beach and playground for kids. The cottage is quite spacious with 3 bedrooms and was impeccably clean. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"

"Thanks so much for this space - we all loved staying here for CIFF and this was a wonderful home base for the duration of the film festival. I only wish we'd added on a day just to soak up the lovely property & outdoor space; the back deck would have been perfect for a family style meal. It was so lovely that we were even able to walk to and from downtown Camden for the different venues. Hope to stay again in the future! "

"The house is well-maintained and a great spacious landing pad for exploration around MDI. A boat rental and launch just a few doors down offers paddle boards and a place to swim. We used those along with the home’s kayaks. Felt like it was the perfect thing to stay close to Bar Harbor but not in it, and being on Long Pond (much warmer water than Acadia’s ocean beaches) was a huge bonus. The full kitchen was very useful. Would love to stay here again."

"Heavily misrepresented surrounded on three sides by construction equipments and various piles of refuse. Shed is divided in two, with construction porta potty as only restroom. Shower set up is illegally with dirty shower water going directly onto the forest floor, an environmental hazard. Entire area was dirty and porta potty was full. Was forced to find a different room last minute because the host was completely non responsive to multiple Messages and attempts to reach them. Only plus is that...

"We’re so glad we booked this home. It had just the right amount of space for our family of four; we didn’t want a hotel room or a large home. One of our daughters used the loft futon and the other decided to use the foldout couch; both slept well. We were busy exploring the island and park so didn’t spend too much time at the home during the morning and afternoon, but it was the perfect place to end the day.
