We stayed there for one night over the King's birthday weekend and the resort was fully booked, yet the two staff on Reception handled the registration for us, and others, in a helpful and friendly manner.The continental breakfast was adequate and again the staff handled the service quickly and efficiently. "Booked the motel when the UTA trail run was still happening and it was literally the only room in/near Katoomba available. Decided to still spend the weekend after the event was cancelled. The Motel is pretty dire. Ultimately you get what you pay for at $85 a night. It’s situated right between the train line and highway so is super noisy. No staff on site so check in is automated - which is fine except it reeks of a place that can be rented by the hour. And it also actually reeks...damp smell,...
