I arrived really early on the day and my capsule wasn't ready. I was given a locker to put my stuff in and was allowed to check in earlier than advertised. Staff were reachable...

"Don’t let the term hostel deter you from booking this wonderful hotel. While they do have bunk rooms with shared bathrooms, we booked a beautiful room with ensuite bath. It was quiet and extremely clean. The location of the hotel is walkable from train or bus stations and is in the heart of the historic area of a lovely town. The view from the hostels back terrace and our bedroom was amazing. "

It is in a good, quiet location away from the main road but still an easily walkable distance to Lake Bled (around 10-15 mins walk), a large Mercator supermarket, and all the general restaurants and shops you could need. This apartment had a small kitchen which we found handy to prep food. It is a basic clean space with no frills and was fine for us. "Great hostel, the beds were spaced wide apart and the bunks very high, so had a feeling of space and privacy. The rooms were stylish and the shared facilities on the whole kept very clean. My only negative was that the air con unit in the dorm I stayed in was VERY loud, it felt like being the bowels of an ocean liner sailing third class by the engines. I got some earplugs which muffled the sound out, so wasn’t too bad the last two nights. "
