Also i want to give a shout out to the amazing service, i was unable to make it for the first day of the three i booked. Despite the fact i only informed them of this the day before, they gave me a refund in cash for that one day. I didn't even ask for it, they just gave it to me. Amazing, i had other hotels refuse to give me refunds even though...

"This place is a special stop to add to your trip. The owner is the sweetest person I have met and she will take good care of you. This is not in town so you must contact the owner for a pickup. If you are doing a border crossing have your snacks money etc before staying. But to stay here and enjoy the owners homecooked meals, the quiet of the rice fields and the comforts of these little cabanas is a nice refreshing experience. As a solo traveler this gave me a little piece of "mama" energy...
"Amazing property! Located right on the Mekong River with a river view, the location could not be beat! It was obvious the hotel was barely booked (low season) and we asked for an upgrade, room with a river view. Ours looked out on another cottage and they said yes for an extra charge. They could have easily given us another room as they were so under booked and it would have been a nice gesture. Anyway we said no thank you as it was only one night. The breakfast was by Thai standards typical...
"Wir haben hier 2 fantastische Tage verbracht und das Thailand abseits der üblichen Hotelketten kennengelernt. Der Komfort entspricht vielleicht nicht den üblichen 5 Sternen, aber dennoch sollte man diese Art der Übernachtung mal gemacht haben.
Das Highlight war die Aussicht ins Tal bis zum Mekong und darüber hinaus bis Laos. Nachts hat man die Möglichkeit einen Sternenhimmel zu sehen, den es in Europa durch Lichtverschmutzung gar nicht mehr gibt.
