"I had a pleasant stay at the Petit Majestic hotel. The reception staff were helpful and courteous and the breakfast was reasonable. The room in Petit Majestic was okay. Definitely a budget room. Bed was comfortable and all the amenities worked fine. The room itself is small and dark and not well ventilated but if you are not in it for long. ie. Spending all the time in the sanctuary and grotto, it is fine. The noise was a little annoying outside from other guests and plumbing also was noisy,...

"The hotel is the standard we knew about. The coffee machine in the lobby only took cash as the card reader was not working. The staff member on duty couldn't have cared less as I had no cash. Didn't offer to sell me a coffee, just walked off. "

"Value hotel so you need to temper your judgement with the price you are paying. The room is very small and basic - bed, small wall mounted tv and very small desk. The shower and toilet resemble something you might see in sports loo but are functional. There were two issues for me 1 - the room smelled of cigarette smoke. As a non smoker this was just not acceptable 2 - the walls are paper thin and whoever was upstairs was making a lot of noise (perhaps they were training a herd of elephants...

"My train to Lourdes was canceled due to a worker strike but, despite the language barrier, they worked with me to change my reservation to the next day with essentially no fuss or complications at all. Amazing meal prepared in-house by a couple that seems fully invested in their guests' stay! 10/10 Would definitely stay again!"
