"We stayed here for three nights and it was fantastic. The hosts were so helpful. Even though their English was as good as our Italian they answered every question and WhatsApp and were there whenever we needed them including arriving really late. It couldn't be in a better location on the main street of Catania. The price is great value. It's not five star luxury. But it was five star service. It's really subtle to find on the street a small sign next to a big green door. I can't fault our stay...

"Rob and Christina are brilliant. Rob is a great chap. Affable, considered and considering with a generous heart and stupendous taste in music. He has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the good, the bad and the rip off in the vicinity; straying from his wisdom is inadvisable. He and Christina have anecdotes aplenty, and Christina in full flow is a sight to behold - a sister cat - her eyes glow. We had an extended stay, so, we had a good look at Rob and Christina's operation and found fault difficult...

I finally picked in my search for the previous reviews and its location right in the center of Catania, where you can stroll and walk to reach anywhere of interests within 30 min. The owner Antonella took great care of my stay with heart and offered many local and regional tourism advice. "I was happy with the size of the room and bed,and bathroom had a good shower, I was a little annoyed about being told to give my room key when ever I wanted to go out, the first time I was leaving to go out and was asked to give the room key,I then said to this man I would like to keep hold of it. When I returned later in the day I was told off by this other man for not leaving my key with them."
