I had a great stay as a solo traveler. I did a single room and had use of the shared kitchen, which was perfect for my needs. The room was basic but clean and quiet. I really liked the location where I could walk to town and get groceries, and catch the bus to Stoos Ridge, and the bus+train to other locations. It's also a good location for going on morning runs.

Great stay at Hotel Engel! I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Engel. The staff were incredibly helpful with all of my questions, the room was cleaned thoroughly every single day, and the surrounding view outside the hotel was absolutely incredible. I also loved the breakfast, which had plenty of variety every morning. Plus, the convenience is unbeatable since the bus station is just across the hotel. Highly recommended!

The hosts were angels. I staid here right after my grandpa's passing and I felt at home in a strange land.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Hammer. The hotel is located outside the town of Kriens and is accessible via a long windy road by either car or bus. Excellent

The hotel is next to an old church and within the old town. The building is almost 500 years old and the style of hotel decorations and facilities, such as lamps and furniture, are in tune with the ambience. The room has a cute coffee maker.

Very well located, next to the Baar train station to go anywhere in Switzerland by train, direct train from/to Zurich airport, close to Lucerne. Overall great experience

Easy location from the train station and just a quick stroll into the old town. Right by the river. Worked well for me. Reception team was super friendly. Good size room, basic features..but that was fine for me. I will come back.
