"The room was generally clean but the shower had mould. Room number 8 stunk of cigarette smoke to the point that we had to wash all clothing that had been in it afterwards. Room 12 had a dripping tap that was you could hear when trying to sleep. The location is good, about 20 minutes into town and shops just across the road. The car park was great and the staffless check-in was easy. The frosted glass panel showing the shower area was a little uncomfortable and would put me off booking again."

"5/5 - Best "jail break" ever! Absolutely loved our stay at Bogentrakt Hostel. Sleeping in a former prison cell with original heavy doors was such a unique concept, but the hostel itself is modern, bright, incredibly clean, and cozy. Perfect location in Old Town Chur, super close to the station, and the staff were wonderful. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Excellent and clean room. Very good quality for a good price. Public transport is excellent to Vaduz and Feldkirch. One point for improvement is the lack of a screen or curtain for the bathroom-window. Due to a glass door between the bedroom and the bathroom it was not possible to make the room dark enough for a good sleep."

"Amazing views, clean property, first time in a hostel and was happy with the experience."

"I stayed in a two-bed twin private room. Pretty nice attached bathroom, comfortable beds. A little warm at night but it was ~22 degrees out during the day so understandable. Solid breakfast bar, nice common areas, and a good location. A bit pricey, but in line with costs in the rest of the Alps. Staff were very nice and accommodating, and helped me figure out bus routes for the two full days of my stay and set me up with the free tourist office bus pass."
