"We loved staying at the Trailhead by Weekender. Easy getting into the room, wonderful bed, clean and quiet. I loved that there were no spiders or bugs in the room! The only thing I would suggest is to have a lighter blanket available rather than just the heavy comforter - it took us until the second night to figure out the A/C and Heat in the room and the first night I was very warm. I loved the decor and the black ceiling! We'll stay again! Diane Hecht"

"Interesting place, but overall condition of the room was a little rougher than expected based on photos. We booked it in a hurry for just one night, and didn't realize until after we left that the room we were given was not the one we had booked. We booked the King Studio Colden, and ended up in the King Studio with Fireplace, which was quite different in terms of the bathroom and a few other things. "Checkin was really easy and the room was clean and all the beds and bedding was in good condition. The only issue I had was the bathroom sink wasn't attached to the wall correctly so if you leaned on it at all it would rock to that side that's the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5."

"Despite to dumpy and sketchy look from the outside and entry, the room was surprisingly adequate. Clean, nice shower, refrig, tv, wifi, comfortable bed and warm. Very quiet too. A pool and hit tub and breakfast across the street we're good. This is a budget motel, so don't expect 5 star anything. If you only need a nice room at an affordable price, this can work."

"This was a lovely place to stay while in the Adirondacks. It has been completely updated. It is VERY clean and has all the necessities. Dishes, dish soap, and paper towels in the kitchenette. We were very pleasantly surprised by how great this was. There was no staff on site so that was confusing at first because I missed the email with check in instructions but I called the number they provided and someone answered and helped us immediately. We will stay here again."

"Unique location, lodge and rooms have character. Quick drive to whiteface mountain. The restaurant has a good vibe and was packed on Saturday night. Kids liked the game room. Staff was helpful when we needed some extra service in the room. "
