"The hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful. Free water at reception. Small balcony w 2 chairs. There is no warm water, which was ok because it was 35 degrees. The room was a bit dusty and theres space at the top of the door so i seen a few small spiders and a gecko came into the room at one point. No ac but a fan which worked ok. Wouldnt recommend if ur staying solo but for a couple would be nice. Overall pretty nice. "

"When I return to Zipolite, I will be staying here. I loved my room that looked out onto the ocean. It’s set right about the middle of the stretch of beach so you can walk in either direction and explore. It’s just a few steps to the beach itself. They have a small pool under a canopy of palm trees that is great for cooling down from the afternoon heat. The restaurant and bar that are right on the beach in front of the hotel have a delicious menu. The staff really went out of their way to make...

"Really nice rooms, very close to Playa del Amor, staff goes over the top making sure you have everything you need and are very friendly."

"No air conditioning, only a ceiling fan. No window in bedroom to outside for fresh air. No hot water either. Was there for 3 days and didn't see room service once. Tried switching hotel's with Expedia and they were as terrible as the hotel. They apparently couldn't get ahold of the hotel manager to find about cancelation policy and partial refund. Overall was a terrible experience. I certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel or Expedia. "
