About as perfect as one could imagine. Our room was an ancient building updated to a very comfortable one bedroom apartment. Suitable for any special occasion like a honeymoon, anniversary, etc. Be sure to have dinner on the property, it is an event on its own. A simple 10 does not give this property justice, it deserves much higher.

Hotel Calzaiolo is WONDERFUL! I had a very restful time there. Antonietta is a kind, charming owner, and was so sweet and helpful to me. She even had a taxi deliver a work bag for me after I forgot it in my hotel room! Speaking of the room, it was charming and perfect, with a very cool wardrobe, and wood ceilings that overflowed with rustic style. If you're looking a for quiet, restful hotel (just 25 minutes outside of the hustle-and-bustle of downtown Florence), I highly recommend Hotel...

Excellent place to stay. Would highly recommend to anyone. Beautiful lodgings, excellent friendly staff, delicious breakfast in the morning.

This property is excellent! By far the highlight of our two weeks touring Italy was Tuscany and particularly this property and its hosts. We felt spoiled from the moment we arrived and were welcomed with a cool glass of prosecco and given a short tour. The property itself is gorgeous and very historic with panoramic views of Florence and the countryside surrounding it. Our room felt luxurious and was very well maintained. The breakfast provided was superb and filling and our hosts even...

Very nice property, friendly staff, tasty dinner and wine, included breakfast limited but acceptable. 20 min away from city center. comfortable bed Highly recommendable if your visit Firenze .

This was one of the best places to stay with two young children. There was so much for them to do and we all loved the pool with splash pad. The farm, the playground, the grounds… everything was perfect! Highly recommend!

Very helpful staff and comfortable affordable stay

Lets be clear, this is a castle. If you want the four seasons stay there. if you want to stay at a very cool castle where you can wander around, cool rooms, walkways, gardens, dungeon and have wine tasting to top it off then this is the place to be. the views from every window was amazing. the staff was helpful, the grounds were well kept and the rooms very large. the breakfast was amazing. They do not serve dinner at the castle, but we got to know the owner of a local restaurant down the...

Best hostel I've ever stayed in. Super clean, nice staff, bunk beds are well designed to preserve privacy. Nice bars and shared spaces.

Great location. Modern, updated rooms. To be sure, this is a small, limited service hotel. Staff is friendly, location is great, comfy bed, modern (small) bathroom. It worked great for us.

I will definitely stay here again if I’m back in Florence. The place is very nice, clean and the staff is great! The sites are all within walking distance.

Hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. I would like to give special shout out front desk staff Clevi who has awesome skills to keep guest comfortable. Location of hotel is also perfect for 10 min walk to Rose Garden.

Nico was an excellent host!! He was very attentive to our needs and had great recommendations for restaurants. He also sat down with us when we arrived and showed us places to visit on a map and modes of transportation. The room was perfect! Great hospitality!

Nice atmospheric hotel. Had the tone of Roman history with a painted ceiling in our room and some exposed brick. Breakfast was ok. Towels were unusual ,- very thin but still absorbent. Good location. And accommodating staff.

Renovated hotel, extremely clean, comfy queen and single beds. Easy access to the terminal. No regrets! The reception is on the hotel in front of the Fiume, but the lady was quickly. We kept our luggage on the storage room after checkout. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a simple but still comfortable place.
