"The rooms are clean and comfortable; Wi-Fi worked well and there was hot water in the shower. I had prepaid with Expedia, but I was asked to pay again in cash at check-in. With my limited Spanish I was able to show my receipt and that was sufficient. The key fob is huge; the idea being that you will hand in your key if you leave the property rather than take it with you. That way they can control access to who is coming and going. It was a nice one night stay. "

You will have a key to your room, but to gain access to the compound you will need to ring the doorbell each time you come and go. My Spanish is limited, but I knew I had to pay cash upon arrival. "The dorm room was filthy with mold in the bathrooms and dust bunnies under the beds. Garbage was overflowing. I carried it out myself. On the positive side, there were mosquito nets and the mattresses were good. "

"I was looking for a nice quiet place to have a mini vacay for just myself and this place fit the bill. It is a very unique and quaint boutique hotel. It has what I would call a "bohemian" flair to it. The staff was exceptional. The owner, Heizel, speaks English and Spanish. She was onsite for my 4 day stay and was very helpful and very accommodating."
