"Warm bedroom and reliable hot water for showering in winter. Good for a night in Kakunodate, or more. Breakfast (if purchased when booking) was served in the guesthouse's Italian restaurant just beside. Thin walls though the other guests were considerate to minimise noise during my stay. The owner, Eiko, is a very easygoing and friendly lady. I regret I had to leave."

"Clean & comfortable Japanese ryoken with a great onsen and dining. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and happy to assist with any questions or requests. I would definitely stay here again. "
