"Travelling across France and Spain we stayed in three budget hotels and this was the best. A reasonable €5 surcharge for our dog and no hidden extra costs. Large clean room with comfortable beds, ensuite shower room, plenty of hot water and efficient radiators. Would recommend this hotel above any other budget chain. Friendly, helpful staff."

Food was average. We had an average breakfast there both mornings and dinner one evening. Service is slow. Asked for some dressing, had finished eating by the time it arrived! Plus points: location and blue badge parking "

"I arrived at 7.30 pm after a long drive from the South of France to find the hotel locked up with nobody there at all. The bar and restaurant were both closed as well. There was a handwritten note on the door giving a telephone number. I phoned and was told that there was a side door and I was given a digicode to gain entry and a room number for me.
