"Location is very good. Walking distance to the centre. Next to main canals and a variety of bakeries, Cafe's supermarket and mod cons. Hotel was really outdated. You need to be prepared for very steep flights of staires depending on the floor and how fit you are. Bedroom floor was buldging, concrete/cement comimg through. The bed side lights did not work. Nettings looked really dirty and old. Bed was clean Bathroom taps had no caps. Shower gel missing from shower. Not a nice experience at...

"I usually avoid hotels rated below 8, and this stay reminded me why. Despite the relatively high price, the hotel felt cheap and poorly maintained. The room was nothing special, and the furniture looked 10–15 years old. I tried to convince myself it was just vintage :) But the torn curtains and worn-out towels were particularly disappointing. Breakfast was my biggest disappointment. It was advertised as good, but the selection was extremely limited — just one type of cheese, two types of ham,...

"The staff were amazing and very courteous. The room was decent and I was a little skeptical about sharing restrooms and showers, but it was great. Location was excellent, and very clean establishment. Even after checkout the staff were delightful and helpful in getting a parcel sent back to the states. Highly recommend and will come back!!!"

"Very good place very good staff very good location near to everything"

"The staff were very friendly! Nice central location with good breakfast!"

"Ein Stern ist selbst zu viel!!! Achtung - Betrug!!!

"The property was awesome. Loved the house and the sourrounding area. It was beautiful and quiet. Unfortunately the house had couple spots where it was not clean or had spiderwebs. Taking that the endcleaning costs almost 40€. Also the oven was not really functioning. The knob for the heat degree didn´t work. So we had to bake stuff with only 180 C max. The Heater reseted itself back evey 2 hours to 17 C but all in all it was a very nice and beautiful place and the frontdesk was very friendly...
