"A great value and clean hotel for a quick stopover right in the middle of town. The self check in was easy and clear comms from the staff by email. Great to have a Nespresso machine in the room and a communal lounge with fridge etc too. 5 mins walk from Altstätten Stadt station on the lovely mountain railway to Appenzell and beyond. 20 mins walk or quick bus to Altstätten SG mainline station so easy to get around without a car. "Great location right on the Bodensee. It’s very simple but clean and comfortable. I happened to get a room with a lake view which was amazing. There isn’t dedicated parking but there is a parking lot right by the hotel with free parking from 22:00 - 07:00."
"Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und der Check-In verlief reibungslos. Es war fantastisch, einen Code zu bekommen. Mir hat sehr gefallen, dass das Hotel einen Fahrrad-/Skiraum hatte. Es gibt Geschäfte überall in der Gegend. Unser Zimmer hatte einen schönen Blick auf die Berge. Sehr zentral zu Bludenz und zum Bahnhof."
"This was the most comfortable and clean hostel I have ever stayed in! I did reserve a room with a private bathroom and it was great. The bed was extremely comfortable and cosy. Breakfast was decent. The view of the mountains from window was a joy to wake up to every morning. There is a great restaurant just around the corner called the Forum. Excellent food and wonderful staff there as well.
I would stay here again and highly recommend the hostel!"
