"I had a nightmare experience here. The property is unsanitary and dangerous. My son, who has asthma, went into medical distress due to thick dust, clogged ventilation, and mold on the bedding. The place was filthy: hair on the sheets, a dirty oven, a rusted toaster, and exposed plumbing. When I reported these legitimate safety hazards, the owner/manager confronted me and my young child in person during checkout. He was aggressive and intimidating, threatening me with 'trespassing' and...

"Greeted by a pleasant stain member. Flat was clean. Secure parking is a plus. Things could be improved if they had the following, welcome pack giving WiFi details etc, better equipped kitchen I.e tea towel, bin and more crockery, bathroom could do with bath mat and bedroom could do with bedside cabinet with bedside lamp "

"Nice place but no good if you want a breakfast as they don’t serve it until 9 am otherwise a nice hotel. "

"There was no breakfast available in the morning, and the room had no mugs or milk on arrival. Booked to stay here as it was convenient for the business I was attending in the area. The TV in the room could not get standard channels. The TV was not set up correctly. "

" The host was pleasant and made us welcome on arrival but the condition and the cleanliness of the property decoration, the carpets and our bathroom in general was so poor that we decided not to stay and left the property. We think the 9/10 and the 10/10 reviews of the hotel are very misleading and we should have looked more carefully before booking. We hope the management improves the property and does well in the future however we would not go back to the hotel."

"Moved from the bull to the shepherds rest as an upgrade prior to arrival. Out of 4 rooms (party of 4), rooms 10 and room 4 no heating. The bull may have better but I’d avoid the shepherds rest. Also none of the TVs worked in any of the 4 rooms and Wi-Fi password not shared. A shame as the rooms were fine even if the showers are a little small. Place was clean and obviously has been invested in. "

"Staff were rude when checking in, the rooms hadn’t been cleaned. There were ants all over the desk in one room, and rubbish on the floor. I don’t know if they are also long leasing out rooms, but some other ‘tenants’ were noisy until around 1am running up and down corridors and shouting. "

"The property was clean comfortable and in a convenient location for my needs. I was hoping to use the kitchen more, however although it was well equipped there wasn't any cutlery, glasses mugs or washing up equipment. Perhaps this could be highlighted in the accomodation details. "

"Great room newly decorated. Very clean free breakfast which was delicious and a bar on the premises. Very good value for money. "
