"Clean and comfortable "

"Great location, close to the central square. The hotel is basic but that is reflected in the price. The rooms are entirely adequate, clean and warm. We didn't have breakfast but it looked like a decent continental offering. You check in via a machine at the front door at which point you pay and receive a code to access the hotel and your room; we therefore had no cause to deal with any hotel staff - no issue with any of that, the system worked well. "The father and daughter who run the hotel are great. They speak very good English ( a great thing when my French is so poor) and run a nice hotel. The food at the hotel is a major plus. I enjoyed the day I spent in Revel and this hotel."

"It was a strange to stay. If you are looking for simplicity, solace, meditation, and walking around the grounds then this is your place to stay. The halls at night were dark. We felt that we were in the movie "The Shining". We stayed for one night at the beginning of September and it was hot, so we left the windows opened at night. They are no screens in the window or AC.
