"The hostel has a nice shared area and bar. We also got a free upgrade to a slightly larger private room which was very kind of them. The room was still quite small, so the smaller room would have been extremely tight for 2 people with rucksacks etc. Overall the room was great. The only thing which was weird was that the bathroom door was made entirely of glass, so your partner/roommate can fully see you sitting on the toilet, so we had to agree not to move from the bed when the other of us...

"Rooms were lovely, fairly new and very modern. Incredibly clean. Breakfast- I was disappointed by this, I assumed from the photos they have their own restaurant but you leave the hotel to have breakfast in a restaurant next door. The choice was poor, plenty of traditional breakfast items but no alternative milks like soy, western options were limited and fresh fruit not edible. "

Het is zeker een manier om te ontdekken hoe het merendeel van de Chinezen in Shanghai leven. "For the price you can't complain. Comfy bed, good shower, 15 minutes walk to the old town. Hundreds of restaurants just outside. Not far from the subway (lindun road stop) Friendly staff. Nothing less than 5 stars from me, I'll come here next time. "
