"The room had an overpowering smell of cleaning products, and the only ventilation was a small bathroom window, so there was no real way to air it out. The property sits right off the highway, and traffic noise carried through the night, which made it hard to sleep. The space felt like it was put together as cheaply as possible, with little thought given to comfort or design. Additionally, none of the amenties were maintained or available.

"This wonderful and historic is the property of the YMCA....... scenic spot with all kinds of opportunities for sports......pickle ball, tennis, water sports, gym, hiking, etc.
Buildings are old and beautifully kept. Staff treats you like they've known you for years. Conference center but we went on our own. Food is ok....served cafeteria style. No restaurants close so take your own snacks."
"My husband and I spent one night here on our way north for leaf peeping in Vermont. We were comfortable in the "Twin Room" and enjoyed the delicious breakfast. We would recommend that the owners note on the room description that the twin room is located on the main floor just outside of the dining room which made for a less private and quiet location."
"Doug, the host, was very kind and hospitable. He answered all my questions about the property and came by to fix the temperature in the shower when it was off. This tiny cabin was very cute and comfortable with everything I needed! Doug even left fresh fruit and veggies from his garden for me to enjoy. I unfortunately could not completely enjoy the property and firepit as I was in Vermont on a work trip but I want to go back soon and book this adorable cabin to stay."
"Tremendously happy with the property. The stay was fantastic the communication with the host was efficient not too many messages but full of useful information and timely communication. Questions were addressed quickly and thoroughly. I would highly recommend staying here and I hope to return and stay there again."
"Place was great but owner should state upfront that there is no WIFI and NO cell service. Kind of needed the WiFi to plan out my vacation plans and not having ANY cell service whatsoever made that impossible. Place was In Great shape , VERY private , driveway was extremely steep making towing my trailer up it a little sketchy. But other than those two issues place was great! "
"This was on a family trip after burying our mother.
We were the ONLY ones staying, yet they wouldn't give us the cabin with wi fi.
The old lock locked us out late at night and it took 30 minutes for them to help us.
When I complained, they kicked us out and called the police who had us drive away in the middle of the night with an 11 yr old.
