I had a cabin with a balcony. It felt like a cabin in the mountains but with strong hot water in the shower. "

"We had a great experience at La Residencia. The villa is modern and well decorated with beautiful gardens. The shared area is very large including a well stocked kitchen. The bedroom was spacious with very comfy beds. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here again"

"My wife and I, both seniors, enjoyed our stay in the Aparthotel Los Pinos. It was easy to find and had everything we needed for our 9 day stay there. The gas stove and oven worked well, and there were enough kitchen supplies to eat breakfasts, lunches and some dinners there. The apartment was clean and everything worked well. "This is a lovely location, right on the river across from the flower fairgrounds and only a block from the city center. Itza, the manager, was very helpful in arranging transportation to/from the airport, and it was fun meeting some of the other hostel guests. The outdoor kitchens are such fun -- not fancy, but everything you need to get by. Really enjoyed my brief stay here!"

"Great value for money stay in Boquete! We have been traveling through Panama for 6 months and this is best value by far outside of the city. The room was big enough with space for backpacks, room and bathroom was spotless with a great shower. The coffee maker in the room was a lovely touch. We didn’t use the kitchen facilities but it looked lovely and clean as well. "

Pros: Attractive welcoming reception area deck with pool table and lounge chairs, restaurant, tours offered, free WiFi. HOWEVER: It's a good thing the wifi is free, because it is terrible, and was inoperable most of the time. The restaurant is closed indefinitely. The kitchen area is outdoors under a tarp. I don't think we could have booked a tour, but we didn't try. We never saw Rosy...
