"Good location close to the train station. It is a bit rustic and has an old interior, but kept very clean. Good for short term stay with the basics. Beddings and towels were clean. I would stay again. Would be great if there was a kettle in the room. "

Staff provided us with a portable cooling fan but that only brought the temperature down to 27° Other rooms next to ours had fully functioning units and much lower temperatures. I asked to borrow one of their units since the rooms were not occupied between check out and check in times (~4 hours during the day) but that seemd to be too...

"Genova Italy has so many grand buildings that have multiple use. The Olympic Hotel is in one of these buildings, with an old fashioned elevator, high ceilings, marble and ornate carvings. The Hotel is on the 4th floor and the management is very friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect for sightseeing, shopping, restaurants and transportation. Good value in a beautiful Italian city."
