"The lady at the front desk was very welcoming and sweet. The lobby was very clean. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The grounds were very well maintained and it was very quiet and relaxing. The breakfast and coffee were very good with lots of options."

"Good location close to I-40 with an excellent Mexican restaurant within walking distance. Spacious room but it was too close to reception where there was noise after midnight. Plenty of breakfast choices."

"This hotel is probably one of the worst I have ever stayed in. Got a room with fridge and microwave. The microwave had caught fire and was unplugged, the vent/light in bathroom was rusted and missing cover, tv was busted and greasy, spots all over the floor. Terrible smell. Fridge was busted and not clean. Roach crawled up the wall. Shower also busted and cracked."

"The hotel is nice. However I made the reservation through Expedia and selected a room with bathtub/shower combination. It's what I paid for..however we were given a room with a shower only and the clerk said none were available. Again I reserved and paid for the bathtub/ shower specifically for my wife's needs. I'm disappointed"

It was on the 2nd floor and they didn’t want to open it so they put us in a handicap room. When we went to the room the outside room that was supposed to be key entry had a wedge in door so it wouldn’t shut. The lock on the door didn’t work. They had two bolt locks. The handicap bath tub was so tall you had to use the rails to get in and I’m older but...

"Place was great. But there was no bottle water in the room."

"This is our go to spot for staying in Tazwell. The rooms are newly remodeled and clean and the staff is always kind and polite."

"Everything was good. The morning staff could have been a little more helpful and friendly. The evening staff was great."

"Avoid!! Dangerous staircase almost rusted through, wet stains INSIDE the sheets, and cigarette holes on outer bedding. I opted to drive through the night rather than stay. The front desk clerk was very kind though."
