"Friendly, welcoming staff. Car parking near. Good size room. Clean sheets & linen, old bed. Shower needs an upgrade. Continental breakfast generous. The rooms are above a busy bar…… although I stayed on a Friday night, I wasn’t kept awake, but that may be a problem for light sleepers. Fair value "

Both rooms were freshly painted and had been thoughtfully decorated.. However, neither bathroom had a shelf - awkward - and one room had only an overhead light.
