"I loved the historical nature of this hotel. It was formerly an orphanage and it has been restored to reflect that. The rooms are small, basically the width of a king size bed, (which was gorgeously comfortable), though there was a shower and sink in the room as well. The toilets are down the hall. The rooms are dead quiet, as you are encased by thick walls. There are a few plaques around the hotel to tell of its former life. "Next to the property there is an abandoned building and people where braking windows at night. The smell of carpet in halls is disgusting but the room is ok and clean. Ok to spend the night. "

"We stayed here for 3 weeks after flying in from the US to visit family in the nearby area. We didn't want to be in a hotel for 3 weeks as we would find that claustrophobic. This was the ideal solution. The park staff were excellent and could communicate easily in English and German if needed. It is extremely quiet here with easy access to the excellent Netherlands freeways. The indoor pool and the swimming lake were loved by my visiting grandkids. "The property was located in the centre of all the restaurants and just a few minutes walk from the caves for the Christmas market which was a convenient location. The Hotel itself had a large restaurant. There is no lift and a very steep staircase to the rooms. Our room had a faulty lock so each time we tried to go out it took several minutes for the lock to catch. We did advise a member of staff but they did not do anything about it. The Television did not work and although a member of staff...

"An amazing host, made extremely welcome, nothing was too difficult. Room clean, well equipped with microwave, coffee maker and fridge. Clean and spacious shower. Host did everything he could to provide a suitable breakfast, with so many extras. In an area, which was very quiet. Would certainly go back!"
