Don’t be scared of other reviews!
"Amazing place!
Yes it’s in a gas station parking lot - but it’s not your average, sketchy station. It is a nice clean station. There is also a coffee/gift shop on the other side of the station, as well as another small shop. Both are lovely and have souvenirs to purchase (coffee/chocolates/huckleberry jams/Rowe Casa products/taffy candy/stickers)
Yes the highway is right in front of the lodge - the road noise can be loud, but if you are from the south and are accustomed to needing noise to sleep, turn on the AC unit and youll go right to sleep.
Yes you have to drive 8 miles north to Ninepipes for breakfast - but the drive is gorgeous and the food is worth the trip.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The cabin has great views of the mountains. And the space is perfect and cozy for a couple. We would 10/10 stay at this lodge again. "
