"The hotel is in disrepair and very tired . Bed uncomfortable spring through mattress and bathroom clear window no privacy . Not the cleanest . Staff were pleasant . The food was average"
"Lovely cosy cottage called “The Wee Cottage”. It was not so “wee” and was exactly as described with a direct view on the harbour. Perfect spot to do our Skye tour and then conveniently leave east the next morning!"

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat für uns nicht zu 100% gepasst, was allerdings auch an den Zimmerpreisen auf der gesamten Insel liegen kann, der etwas höherpreisig ist"
"The cabin was a lovely tranquil space. Away from the hubbub of Portree and all on its own.
It was so peaceful looking over the water with a horse and sheep as the immediate neighbours.
I didn't manage to work the induction hob but was able to use the oven just fine.
The hot tub was a rare treat too. It took a bit to figure it out but nothing a wee Youtube video couldnt fix. "
"From the moment we approached the driveway I was taken aback. There’s a large pile of old tires at the bottom of the drive. The drive is several hundred feet long and very rutted and muddy. It badly needs to be regraveled, as does the parking area.
The picture of the house on the listing is many years old, and it needs paint badly now. I know it’s a wet environment, but it’s not well maintained.
Inside is not real clean. There’s a lot of mold, and a lot of basic repairs need to be done....
"What a cozy, homey cottage! Liz has done a wonderful job of updating it without losing any of the charm of its 200 year old history. Every little detail has been thoughtfully provided, and Liz herself couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming.
The location is wonderful too--dinner at the nearby Edinbane Lodge was outstanding and the Edinbane Pottery is well worth checking out. I highly recommend this property."
"Great property. It is a remote location that is a bit of a drive to get to. It would be great (imho) for stays consisting of at least several days or longer.
One suggestion for the property is to add a mirror over the bathroom sink. The mirror on the opposite wall isn’t as practical.
