"This hotel is centrally located and clean. The price is right and Andrea at the front desk was extremely helpful! "

"I might agree with others that this property is probably more hostel than hotel. BUT!! That being said, we had our own bathroom, the room was clean and our group each had their own bed, the showers were hot, they had a good breakfast and they will do your laundry for a fee. And sometimes travel is just what you make it, had we not stayed here we would have missed some good shopping streets walking into the city. Beautiful walks. "

"The staff are very kind. Room was a little bit outdated and resembled Europe in the 50s, but there was heat and air conditioning and wifi. Free breakfast was good. We stayed next to the window and definitely heard traffic and honking but the location is great. could see cathedral and duomo from hotel window. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Berna. We chose the location based on proximity to the train and our guided tours while in Florence. Both were extremely close by which was helpful. The hotel was a tad difficult to find (small plaque on the building) and the elevator was tiny and not much use. The room for four was very small and the area is loud at all times of day and night. We used a white noise machine to try and cancel out while sleeping. Staff were extremely kind and helpful. "

"This is a wonderful old place but…you MUST have a car! We did not have one but it’s very inconvenient and expensive to get one to come up to this area. Also - there is no dinner service on Sunday evenings - which was the day we stayed here. The staff was SO amazing and do make us a charcuterie plate - and they were wonderful. The rooms are sparse but very clean. "

"Me and my girlfriend had an amazing stay at Amelia. Was welcomed by Il Capo and his family (Fabio and his wife and 2 sons) special shout out to Fabio and Eduardo who spoke very good English and recommended us great places to visit. They made us feel like being at home. Their hotel has a small pool… perfect for a dip in to cool off and a brand new jacuzzi which was a bonus! Great location with nice views from the rooms. "This place is great! When we started to plan our trip to Florence we couldn't believe the high cost of the hotels there...so we decided to stay in Prato because it's less than 30 min. in a train that runs few times every hour for under $3 each way. 10 min. walk from the train station Prato Centrale to this family run old school hotel. Prato is also great historic town with restaurants and all you need if you decide to eat there. What a great stay. Saved us over $1000 in our 7 day trip. Thanks!!!"

"È oggettivamente più che due stelle, considerati la camera e il bagno ristrutturati (la nostra affacciava su una chiostrina interna ma per due notti andava più che bene, considerato che ci hanno dato addirittura una tripla al posto di una doppia). Unica precisazione che farei è che la colazione non è un vero buffet ma è ad ordine "libero", diciamo: chiedi quello che vuoi e te lo portano."
