"The stay was great. However checking in was horrible. Hotels.com took money from my account then I had to pay the hotel directly. So I paid twice. Still waiting on a refund from hotels.com"

"Young man who checked me in was polite and professional. You could tell he was busy because it was family weekend for sam houston. Room, bed, bathroom was clean. AC worked well. Comforter had cigarette burn in it but bed was clean. Larger pillows would be nice. Clean up area by container, there is dog feces all over there. I would stay again for a short stay. "

"Hotel was close to campus and did allow pets.The room was comfortable and I was able to adjust my own A/C. I needed to ask for assistance to get the tv to work and I was assisted without hesitation. The hand soap, shampoo and body wash dispensers were all empty. "

"Great service from the front desk as well as restaurant staff. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the 3 days I was there we never got housekeeping services even with the "maid service please" sign as well as there isn't a pool. I understand if they are short staffed though, and couldn't have the housekeeping . Overall, a wonderful stay."

"dumpster area was filthy and the entire property was overrun with flies. the young man that runs the place does a great job and is very personable."

"This place needs a serious update. Our shower had rust all along the bottom. Sink was dirty and had hair in it. Toilet kept running. There was a bug crawling on the nightstand. Elevator was not working…. The list goes on. I would not recommend this place unless they hired some more help & underwent a remodel."

"This 3 bedroom home was very clean and we enjoyed the location across from the park. It was quite and comfortable. We definitely would book again. Our host, Kathy, was so sweet and answered any question we had."
